VSP 360 · What changed this weekSat 10 Oct → Fri 16 Oct 2026

Array A gained 312 volumes and 151 snapshot pairs this week. Four VSP 360 devices dropped off, Array C among them.

Most of the growth on Array A is snapshot clones, but it also added 316 TiB of primary thin volumes. Array B took 72 TiB of new writes and stored none of them. Array C shed 129 snapshot pairs and then lost its connection to VSP 360 late on 16 October, after a vCenter and both FC switches failed authentication earlier in the week.

Figure 1 · Arrays, start of week against end of week

Every line that climbs steeply belongs to Array A, except one: data written to Array B more than tripled

Each panel is a slope graph: the left end is the value at 00:00 UTC on Saturday 10 October, the right end at 21:00 UTC on Friday 16 October. Each panel has its own scale, not starting at zero, so compare slopes within a panel, not across panels. The steepest change in each panel is drawn in orange.

Connected devices fell from 11 to 7, three of them because stored credentials stopped working
